Small group, resistance-based movement sessions, adapted to your needs.

*Functional Strength- (A new combo of Moms & Tots and Ladies Strength - all welcome!) Gain confidence with basic equipment and fundamental movement patterns while considering core and pelvic floor symptoms and your current daily activity. Kiddos are always welcome while Moms get their movement break!

*Moving Through Motherhood- A mini-lesson paired with a strength workout. We talk and walk through all things Motherhood, with topics ranging from how to listen to your body, core and pelvic health symptoms and considerations, exercise in pregnancy and returning to movement postpartum. No topic is TMI, and movement is adapted to meet you where you’re at, be it pregnant, early postpartum or 6 months post-delivery.

Girls Who Lead

Presents…

Girls Who Run! Coming Spring 2024.

Register now for our 5 week participant + female parent/caregiver run and strength training session, culminating in a 5km race (June 1st, Drumheller).

Session runs: Tuesday, April 30th - May 28th in Duchess, AB.

Girls Who Lead general info: Programming for girls ages 6-8 and 9-12, developed to ‘Build Confidence in Leadership and Movement.’

With an introduction to a variety of sports and movement opportunities, Girls Who Lead participants have a chance to build self-confidence and leadership skills, alongside their peers and amongst peer mentors.

In the leadership portions of our program, participants discuss themes of goal setting, self awareness, body confidence, gratitude, communication and leadership, and build confidence and joy in movement through fun, age and ability appropriate sports/activities like: strength training, running, acro/gymnastics, obstacle courses and more!

Consultations

A chance to talk about YOU, 1-1.

Sometimes you don’t need a full program, but you do need guidance in order to continue the current exercise practice that you love, while keeping your long-term athleticism in view.

We cover a lot of ground in a 1-hour consult, including your exercise history, pregnancy/postpartum journey(s), your current physical and mental health, any core and pelvic health symptoms, short- and long-term goals and information/strategies you can take and use immediately.

Education

Are you a healthcare practitioner that works with pregnant/postpartum women? Do you own a gym? Cafe? Maternity or children’s store? A coach or trainer looking to better serve your female clients?

Do you have a drive to fill the gaps in women’s health and fitness by hosting an event, workshop or seminar?

I would love to come share information and answer questions about all things exercise in pregnancy, postpartum and beyond! Events are a mix of discussion, movement piece and lecture style - adapted to your needs and group!

The theme: Good Vibes Only! Join us for positive swing on the transitional phases of motherhood.

Our sessions will focus on nurturing your health and happiness as you move through the different phases of motherhood.

From navigating changing physiology, learning safe exercises to developing birth preferences and coping with the postpartum period, we’ve got you covered.

Discover the art of self-care, fostering relationships, and finding joy in every milestone. Whether it’s infant feeding tips, or redefining ‘me-time’, sneaking in intentional movement, we’re here to support you.

Sessions include educational discussion followed by a group mom & me workout!

Let’s celebrate the magic of motherhood together in a positive light!
